Tessie Chapman Author of.... The Enchanted Island
What is the story about? Here is a little taste of Tessie's book:
The Enchanted Island
Down in the mysterious abyss, inside the gigantic sphere on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean stood a magical kingdom that was invisible to the human eye.
Golden crowns with precious stones and pearls in amazing shapes and colors were being illuminated by their soft light.
And King Ocean’s majestic golden spear sustained the magnificent brightness encircling the palace.
Charming mermaids were gliding around the hall and gracefully swaying their pretty light-green tails in the rhythm of the algae.
Pink scalloped shells, strapped with strong strands of seaweed, covered the mermaids’ delicate bosoms.
With their soft, long, dark hair, it made them look even more beautiful. The mermen, moving alongside them, looked handsome and brawny.
Their fine dark hair was neatly cut.
Most of them had blue eyes.
Quite a few had light and dark brown ones.
And some even had purple. Though not very many had green eyes.
Shortly, one of the king’s loyal merguards swam out from a special room.
He faced the merpeople, held up his silver spear against his broad chest.
"The arrival of a newborn princess has come!" he announced enthusiastically.
Loud applause and few moments of cheer from everyone in the hall rang out. Seahorses gently marched out from the queen’s room, pulling a golden carriage with the proud, royal mercouple inside.
They were happily waving their hands to their cheery sea nymphs.
Then it became quiet. Another group of seahorses came out from another door.
This time the seahorses were pulling a brilliant bassinet in a shape of a giant clamshell, gloriously adorned with sparkling gemstones.
The most beautiful newborn merbaby lay comfortably inside.
Everyone was thrilled, and clustered around to see the newborn princess. The "Ohh’s and Ahh’s" echoed from some groups, as they all whispered to each other.
Prologue taken from Tessie's web site.

Jerry Minchew Author of.... KNIGHTHAWKE
KNIGHTHAWKE is a blend of suspense, action, adventure, mystery, humor, history, romance and science fiction.
The time period is 1952 - 1975. It is the first in a three book series.
KNIGHTHAWKE is the Special Ops code name for Michael Walker, a reluctant hero who only wanted to live a normal life.
He grew up believing that he was the son of Jake and Lisa Webber, abandoned as a baby in the back seat of a car when Lisa was killed during a bank robbery.
In reality they had abducted him from his parents and twin sister Michelle, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
His search for family led him into the Air Force after leaving his foster home in the deep South.
In California he located someone who had once known Jake and Lisa. He was surprised to learn that Lisa could not have children.
Confused and frustrated he returned to his home base in New Mexico where an accident, involving a satellite nearly took his life.
The satellite contained an alien organism which made its way into his bloodstream, causing him to heal rapidly and enhancing his natural abilities. Thus Michael’s life was changed and KNGHTHAWKE was born.
At that point his life became anything but normal.
The Pentagon classified him as top secret.
He felt out of control of his own life.
Scientists wanted to study him.
The military wanted to use him as a secret weapon in the Vietnam and Cold Wars.
The Soviets wanted his blood.
Michael just wanted to learn his true identity, while his family was frustrated in their efforts to find him.
The final chapter ends in a cliffhanger that will leave the readers mouth watering for the sequel.
The characters have been written in such a way that the reader will experience their joys and sorrows, successes and failures.
Lisa Webber is portrayed as a victim, more than a villain.
At her death the reader will feel sympathy even though her crimes were unforgivable.
That is an example of the paradoxes that weave their way through the entire book.
Michael is neither a super hero nor a super soldier.
He is an ordinary guy who deal’s with extraordinary circumstances.
His reaction to his newfound abilities is first denial, then regret, and finally acceptance.
Through the trials, tribulations, and joys of his journey of self discovery he remains a humble man.
The book is full of coincidence and close calls.
The police almost catch Jake; the Walker family almost finds Michael. Seemingly insignificant details turn up later in the story.
The reader will often say, “I didn’t see that coming.”
KNIGHTHAWKE is a story that will keep readers spellbound from beginning to end!
Kelli G. Deister Author of.... "Embracing The Storm" & Journey to the Magical Places of the Heart
Embracing the Storm:
Jewels for Victims of Domestic Violence
Embracing the Storm
Domestic violence knows no boundaries.
It affects all ages, races, religions, genders and income levels.
There are many women we encounter on a daily basis who are in the midst of domestic abuse.
Sadly, too many of us are unaware of their plight.
Coming forward is truly a brave and courageous step on behalf of the victim.
The woman who has made the decision to share her terrifying secrets has already been through a wide range of emotions and thought processes before deciding to talk.
Many people see one side of the abuser in public while his victim sees the other.
It is the difference between knowing a person who is calm, humorous, social and pleasant,
to one who the victim identifies with: a person who is mean, dangerous, and calculating.
If everyone, as individuals, were to lock arms and unite hearts, we could stamp out domestic violence.

Pierrette Lili Camps Author of.... "Le Café de Cadix"
Synopsis
This autobiography takes place in Algiers near the famed Casbah.
The author's journey begins in the 1930' s where the cast of characters is comprised
of Jews, Arabs and the mostly Latin French, who when exiled to France at Algeria's independence would be called "Pied Noir"
The book is filled with the heart and love for family and the friends that once lived in her neighborhood.
Much of it is humorous, for as the author recalls, there was a joie de vivre in Bab-el-oued, where the bar was located.
Something that she never found again in her well traveled life, unless, as she puts
it she came into contact with people smoking strange looking home made cigarettes!
Towards the end of this powerful memoir, Pierrette touches upon the present conflict in the middle east,
which makes her story timely, given the current situation between our Western and Muslim worlds.
For she even finishes this story, with an unfortunately too accurate prediction as foretold by the
Nobel prize winner Albert Camus, who as a young man, was a customer of Le Cafe de Cadix.
It was there that the author was to meet her G.I husband during WW 2.
They embarked together a new and unexpected course and that would bring her to America to start a new life.
Brenda Hill Author of....
"Ten Times Guilty"
Synopsis
Bravery or rage? Tossing on the sweat-soaked cot at three in the morning, Tracy felt nothing but anger. She kept seeing Karr, leaning against the cottonwood tree in the park, arms lazily folded as he watched her. The scene repeated over and over like a warped video. He’d even flipped a cocky little salute as she shot to her feet in terror, mocking her, so sure of himself while she grabbed Ritchie and ran. Bastard, she thought now. She grew so outraged she no longer felt afraid. It was time to stop running. Even with all the precautions of the shelter, he still found her. She and Ritchie would never be safe. There was only one thing to do: she’d get a gun from Holly and meet him in the park. This time, the odds would be in her favor.
Brenda is a wonderful editor as well. Check out her web site for prices.
Jan Chestnutt Author of.... Fighting Fire with Fire
Suddenly, throughout the world, the minds and hearts of people changed with the fall of the towers and the slaughter of thousands of people on that dreadful dark day, September 11, 2001.
Questioning the reason for such a devastating blow, millions of people turned to look for answers,
yet are still uneasy in not finding any.
Fighting Fire with Fire offers a different explanation for that incredible day when the black smoke covered the sky and darkened the hearts of people all over the world.
This new look at the event shows that it was much more devastating than anyone could have imagined, for it was only the beginning of our sorrows.
In a chilling comparison to Bible Scripture, Fighting Fire with Fire reveals how the events of that day were merely the beginning stages of the most horrifying time in the history of the world: tribulations.
It also explains how the modern day church is teaching us false doctrine that blinds us from the truth, just as God warned.

Tamara Delancre Author of.... Demon Passing
Excerpt
In the beginning Lucas wanted to believe that being traumatized was normal for a six year old boy who had been witness to murder.
But, if that was the case then the state psychiatrist should have been able to help him.
To this day, Lucas still saw his mother’s beautiful face twisted in terror as the monster that took the life from her mangled body laughed demonically. His triumph had been swift and great.
Misbehavior was not the word to describe Lucas’ actions from that point on.
By the time he reached the age of eight years old
he had carried the weight far too long on his shoulders,
and being thrown into one foster home after another only made it worse.
Lucas was different now. From the time he set foot in his first classroom everyone knew he was strange.
He was left out of any kind of activities at recess, and in the lunchroom he would sit alone, and wish someone would talk to him.
Lucas was consumed with hatred and there was nothing he could do about that.
It had twenty years to hibernate, and now that little boy was grown up. Not only was he a man now, but a very angry man who would stop at nothing to find the murdering monster responsible for killing his family.
After receiving the letter anger erupted like a volcano.
Now, vengeance would be the only way to stop the flow.
Living a nightmare for twenty years had taken a toll on Lucas.
He was tired, and wanted to put an end to the dreams, and flashbacks.
All that was needed now was closure, and to remember them as they were. Because, at one time, Lucas and his family were happier than anyone he knew.
Thinking about it made the sick memory seep into his head, and once again it was throbbing.
Pulling over to the side of the road, and taking a long swig of beer, then tossing the can out of the window, Lucas sat back letting it take over.
As usual he was back in the old basement reliving the nightmare…
